Procurement Manager (London Based)


Reporting to the Deputy Head Procurement, the successful candidate assumes the following key roles:

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage new aircraft delivery programme through to timely delivery to airlines, with a primary focus in Airbus delivery activities including production quality assurance matters
  • Represent the company as primary point of contact for all Airbus production and delivery matters
  • Manage the contracted aircraft production inspection team
  • Support Aircraft specification development, including aircraft detailed specification and BFE selection, meeting the defined specification timeline – including first article inspection and critical design review activities with BFE suppliers.
  • Liaise with relevant manufacturers to ensure aircraft specifications and BFE meets the required specifications and budgets
  • Liaise and manage Service Providers for any necessary post-delivery work
  • Interface with manufacturers on product developments
  • Review of Letter of Intent / lease agreement provisions
  • Provide weekly reports on all Airbus production, delivery matters

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree in engineering with at least 5 years relevant experience in the aviation-related sector or relevant Aircraft Maintenance License holders with at least 5 years of project management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage projects independently
  • Conscientious and a fast learner
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Able to travel at short notice
