This role performs the following key functions:


  • Identify ways to build the Company’s brand and its profile in the industry, including by promoting a positive image of the Company as a leading, global aircraft leasing company through effective communication channels.
  • Identify key press contacts, cultivate relationships, and have regular dialogues with those contacts.
  • Draft press releases (as and when required) and distribute to media as well as updating these on Company website and Intranet,
  • Manage LinkedIn and social media postings and keeping company website up to date. Monitor competitor websites weekly for salient corporate/industry developments.
  • Work with Corporate Communications Executive to ensure that Company website is updated on an accurate and timely basis especially as they pertain to Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx) announcements.
  • Manage production of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) section of the annual report and the monitoring of key performance metrics.  Ensure that company ESG disclosure is maintained in line with HKEx requirements and aligned with investor, leading ESG ratings agency and consultancy review needs. Act as secretary to the ESG Committee.
  • Develop and manage an annual CSR calendar that provides volunteering opportunities in events that raise the company’s community profile. This should reflect BOC Aviation employee feedback and feature plans to encourage company-wide participation.
  • Maintain list of subscriptions for company-wide reference and corporate memberships with key platforms, ensuring timely renewals, and execute on sponsorships based on approved sponsorships.
  • Negotiate contracts for the production of corporate publications including the Interim and Annual Report.
  • Manage department budget to ensure expenditure kept in line and sufficient funds throughout the year; budget planning for following year.
  • Assist CEO, COO and CFO in managing all stakeholder relationships through production of presentations and other collaterals as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree in corporate communications or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ corporate communications experience. Relevant corporate communications experience in the aviation industry will be an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements.
  • Strong MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills.
  • Organised and detailed-oriented with strong communication, analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Some prior experience on ESG matters is desirable; but a deep interest is essential.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Able to engage and influence employees at all levels with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
